Her slender, dynamic lines draw inspiration from 1930s sports cars and showcase her elongated bow and low profile.The sale of the third hull of the Mangusta Maxi Open flagship was managed directly by Mangusta Sales Manager Nicolò Strocco.Designed with rounded and curved shapes, the Mangusta 165 REV yacht showcases a classic and timeless silhouette that stays true to the Mangusta Yachts DNA, while cleverly concealing her 499 GT interior volume.The third Mangusta 165 REV yacht features large side windows in her main saloon, with an additional glazed strip that goes up to the ceiling, illuminating the room in natural light. Her two side windows also open onto two fold-down balconies, offering a breathtaking view of the sea and letting the sunshine pervade the entire area.The Mangusta 165 REV superyacht can sleep up to 10 guests across five luxurious staterooms. Her two level light-filled master suite spans 92 square-metres and includes floor-to-ceiling windows integrated into her hull.The lower deck of the Mangusta 165 REV yacht has been designed with holistic health and relaxation in mind, with the addition of a large Turkish bath and a gym. This deck also houses a full-beam VIP suite and three guest staterooms.&nbsp;The exterior decks of the Mangusta 165 REV include a generous forward area, furnished with sofas, comfy sunpads, and a pool. The sun deck also offers comfortable sofas and a bar, providing the perfect spot to sip a cocktail at sunset.Located at the stern on the lower deck of the Mangusta 165 REV yacht, the aft door opens to reveal a beach club conceived as a fully-equipped lounge area by the sea, with the tender garage on one side. In our previous <a href="https://sytiq.superyachttimes.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="">SYT iQ</a> Insight article, we explored the deliveries within the 30-metres-plus category, revealing an approximate 20% growth in 30-metre plus yachts delivered in 2023, from 170 in 2022 to 201 in 2023. Now through <a href="https://sytiq.superyachttimes.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="">SYT iQ</a>, we shift our focus to the top-performing shipyards of 2023, examining their performance in terms of units delivered, total gross tonnage (GT), and total length delivered. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/300959/image/large-bc8869536b481f995c458b8130ae54dd.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/300959"> When it comes to delivering units exceeding 30 metres, Italian shipyards, notably the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/6046" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Azimut-Benetti Group (Company)">Azimut-Benetti Group</a>, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4876" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Ferretti Group (Company)">Ferretti Group</a>, and <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/374" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Sanlorenzo (Company)">Sanlorenzo</a>, lead the rankings. According to <a href="https://sytiq.superyachttimes.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="">SYT iQ</a>, in 2023, the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4876" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Ferretti Group (Company)">Ferretti Group</a> led in 30-metre plus yacht deliveries in terms of the number of yachts, accounting for 18% of the total with 36 yachts delivered. <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4876" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Ferretti Group (Company)">Ferretti</a> was followed closely by the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/6046" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Azimut-Benetti Group (Company)">Azimut-Benetti Group</a> with 30 yachts, and <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/374" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Sanlorenzo (Company)">Sanlorenzo</a> with 28. <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/473" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Overmarine Group SPA (Company)">Overmarine</a>, known for the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/473" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Overmarine Group SPA (Company)">Mangusta</a> brand, and <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1394" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Ocean Alexander (Company)">Ocean Alexander</a> closed out the top five for 2023. A comparison with the top five shipyards with the most units delivered in 2022 reveals that the top five remain unchanged. <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/6046" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Azimut-Benetti Group (Company)">Azimut-Benetti Group</a> and <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4876" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Ferretti Group (Company)">Ferretti Group</a> both led with 26 deliveries each, followed by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/374" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Sanlorenzo (Company)">Sanlorenzo</a> with 24, and then the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/473" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Overmarine Group SPA (Company)">Overmarine Group</a> and <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1394" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Ocean Alexander (Company)">Ocean Alexander</a> with seven yachts each.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/300960/image/large-8e204f5f92a5418646d82e69ee5b3bd4.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/300960"> Within <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4876" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Ferretti Group (Company)">Ferretti Group</a>, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/112" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Custom Line (Company)">Custom Line</a> delivered 14 yachts, closely followed by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/363" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Riva S.p.A. (Company)">Riva</a> with 11. Additionally, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/361" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Ferretti Yachts (Company)">Ferretti Yachts</a> contributed seven, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/584" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Pershing S.p.a. (Company)">Pershing</a> three, and <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/166" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Wally (Company)">Wally</a> added one yacht to the total. Whilst for <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/6046" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Azimut-Benetti Group (Company)">Azimut-Benetti Group</a>, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/212" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Benetti SpA (Company)">Benetti</a> delivered 21 and <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/358" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Azimut Yachts (Company)">Azimut</a> nine. Overall, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/374" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Sanlorenzo (Company)">Sanlorenzo</a> emerged as the top performing brand in 2023 with 28 yachts delivered followed by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/212" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Benetti SpA (Company)">Benetti</a> and <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/112" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Custom Line (Company)">Custom Line</a> as depicted in the graph below.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/300961/image/large-f42d2bbe162d8ca8f5502d20ed20fc07.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/300961">However, an analysis of the total gross tonnage (GT) of yachts delivered in 2023 reveals a different ranking. Although <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/23" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Lürssen Yachts (Company)">Lürssen</a> delivered only two units, the yard led in terms of total GT with 16,009 GT, followed by the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/6046" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Azimut-Benetti Group (Company)">Azimut-Benetti Group</a>, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/374" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Sanlorenzo (Company)">Sanlorenzo</a> and the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4876" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Ferretti Group (Company)">Ferretti Group</a> in fourth place. The Spanish shipyard <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1732" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Freire Shipyard (Company)">Freire</a> was ranked fifth with 7,200 GT, even though it delivered just one superyacht. Despite the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4876" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Ferretti Group (Company)">Ferretti Group</a> delivering a greater number of units, both the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/6046" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Azimut-Benetti Group (Company)">Azimut-Benetti Group</a> and <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/374" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Sanlorenzo (Company)">Sanlorenzo</a> achieved a higher total gross tonnage (GT) in 2023, as they delivered fewer yachts but with larger volume.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/300962/image/large-2b434368a63332f26d71faa83ce9867b.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/300962"> This differs from 2022, when Lürssen led with a total of 14,785 GT, followed by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/64" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Oceanco (Company)">Oceanco</a>, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/6046" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Azimut-Benetti Group (Company)">Azimut-Benetti Group</a>, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4876" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Ferretti Group (Company)">Ferretti Group</a> and <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/374" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Sanlorenzo (Company)">Sanlorenzo</a> as shown below.
