The sixth 36.3-metre Moonen Martinique motor yacht Moonshine has been launched at the Moonen Yachts’ shipyard in the Netherlands.Due to be delivered before the summer season kicks off, Moonshine will spend this year cruising the Mediterranean and Caribbean before she arrives at her owner’s home in San Diego, California.As part of her builder’s fast displacement steel hull design series Moonen Martinique, the yacht features a bespoke interior design with a vibrant, distinctive decor, which was penned in collaboration with the Netherlands-based Hollander Yacht Design team. Furthermore, her exterior design is conceived by René van der Velden Yacht Design, and her naval architecture is courtesy of Diana Yacht Design.
As many as 12 guests can be accommodated onboard Moonshine thanks to her five stateroom layout, while additional accommodation is also provided for up to seven crew members. In terms of her performance, the yacht, which is composed of a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, is powered by twin Caterpillar engines that can reach a cruising speed of 14.5 knots and a top speed of 17 knots.
